I wonder what in the Hell I did to Worcester to make him delete my post directed to you about Henry Ford, my love of Ford cars & trucks, my dad selling Fords, Edison's last breath, and Caro/LBJ.

Anyway, nice "talking to you."

Dick, You're welcome here any time as is anyone else. My original intent was to blog here on matters relating to music, but I soon saw that most folks around here that blog or post on blogs, have axes to grind or agendas to pursue. Since you've torn the door off the hinges (so to speak)I'm not going to fix it. I'll take on all comers, the civil ones anyway. Use any language you please ( I wince as I type this) to make a point. Just don't be boorish.

Thank you.
I am very careful about clean language.

Having said that, I can be a wiseass.
(That is about as dirty as I get).
But I try to keep it in good taste.

I was amazed that I found someone who had taken the time to read all 3 of Caro's books on LBJ. I know that that sounds elitist, but I do not intend it that way. Those books can be so dry that you have to keep water nearby to prevent ignition.

I am about half way through The Power Broker, a bio of Robert Moses by Caro. His first tome back in the 70's. If you have not read it, I highly recommend it.

It can be VERY hard to find. I wound up buying a VERY used (near tattered) copy through Amazon for about 20 bucks. I could have gotten my local library to get a copy via Enoch Pratt but I knew it would take me a long time to read it.

By the way, if you should decide to read it, get a good map of New York City, you will need it.

BTW I found out what I did to have that one post bumped, I inadvertently addressed it to the wrong person and some feelings were hurt. All is well now.

Hey Bro try and post a UTube here and there. I would like to hear what music you are into. I know you said you're a finger picker.

I've been playing "Up on Cripple Creek, Country Road, Wish you were Here, Ripple by the Dead, Dark Hollow, Scarlet Begonia's, Suite Judy Blue Eyes, Teach your Children."

I'm getting my chords down and am comfortable playing rhythm, but would like to learn some picking scales.
